Do I have to be good at art to participate in art therapy?

Absolutely not. Art therapy isn’t about being good at any specific type of art. It’s about using the creative process of making art to help improve a person’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Is art therapy covered by insurance?

This depends on the organizations your therapist is registered with. Some people can charge to their insurance without your therapist being registered. It is best to contact your provider.
